Shake Shack has broadened its collaboration with Delta Air Lines by offering its signature cheeseburger to first class passengers departing from airports in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York-LaGuardia, and Seattle. This menu addition comes after a successful launch in Boston last December. The cheeseburger, which features American cheese and toppings typically found on Shake Shack’s ShackBurger, is available for lunch or dinner on flights longer than 900 miles. It is served with chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie, with passengers having the option to order through the Fly Delta App or via email link up to a week in advance of their flight.

To further enhance this partnership, Shake Shack and Delta are collaborating with Uber to provide a buy-one-get-one-free ShackBurger promotion for Delta’s SkyMiles members, and those who sign up before March 6. Customers interested in this offer must join the Delta X Uber waitlist to gain access to additional SkyMiles points and other benefits. This partnership, which aims to extend Shake Shack’s reach to customers beyond their physical locations, has been met with positive feedback according to Shake Shack’s president of global licensing, Michael Kark. Delta is also transitioning its ride share service partnership from Lyft to Uber this spring, indicating a broader integration of the two brands.
