The Real Estate Investment Council (“REIC”) is a Tampa Bay organization of a wide range of professionals having an interest in commercial real estate. Its purposes are to (a) inform its members of the latest business and financial news affecting commercial real estate; (b) create a forum for the exchange of ideas; and (c) provide a setting for members to develop new business contacts.
The CCIM institute has been educating real estate specialists across continents and industry categories. This accreditation represents proven expertise in investment analysis. Less than 10% of professional industry advisers have this accreditation. Industry research has shown that CCIM designees significantly outperform non-designated professionals across key metrics, making them the go-to experts in their respective markets.
The FSU Real Estate Center is established to enhance the teaching, research, and service mission of the Real Estate Program at Florida State University. The Center serves as the administrative home of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA), one of the discipline’s leading global academic research associations. The Center’s operations are supported by its external programs, research activities, and by the generous assistance received from its Executive Board, alumni, friends, and event sponsors. The Center maintains a policy of political non-advocacy.
The Society of Real Estate Professionals (SOREP) is dedicated to serving Tampa Bay’s commercial real estate community by hosting insightful events on relevant industry topics, valuable networking opportunities, and our signature “Meeting of the Minds”. SOREP is also committed to supporting higher education in commercial real estate by sponsoring a scholarship fund that has awarded $80,000 since 2018.
ULI Tampa Bay is a District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) serving 7 counties including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Sarasota, Hernando and Citrus. As the preeminent, multidisciplinary real estate forum, ULI is a nonprofit education and research group supported by its diverse, expert membership base.
