Impossible Foods, a leading meat alternative brand, has recently launched its first brick-and-mortar foodservice concept called Impossible Quality Meats in Uptown Chicago. This pop-up concept offers a diverse menu of plant-based options, including appetizers, salads, wraps, burgers, and hotdogs. Operating from Aug. 13 through fall, the pop-up is open on Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is situated within Chicago’s XMarket Food Hall, managed by VEG House and leased through PlantX Life Inc. Customers can not only enjoy the unique foodservice experience but also purchase popular Impossible retail products like Impossible Beef, Hot Dogs, and Chicken Nuggets at the PlantX Bodega within the food hall.
Peter McGuinness, president and CEO of Impossible Foods, highlighted the brand’s journey from a foodservice provider to creating its own dining experience with Impossible Quality Meats. The focus is on offering a range of classic, craveable dishes that showcase the deliciousness of plant-based food without compromising on taste. To mark the opening, Impossible is hosting a grand opening party on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the XMarket Food Hall, featuring free samples of Impossible Hot Dogs, Burgers, and Oatly Soft Serve. Founded in 2011, Impossible Foods’ products are now available in over 45,000 restaurant locations across the United States, reflecting the brand’s growing presence in the market.
